About the Designer

With an intuitive eye for good design, Andy is an experienced plantsman with a passion for plants and an extensive knowledge based on many years of study and personal experience

Andy Morris is a qualified designer holding a Higher Diploma in Garden Design from RHS gold medal-winning Reaseheath College and a BSc (Hons) in Biology from Bristol University.

With the backing of a degree in biology, Andy understands the importance of working with the ecological conditions of each site in developing exciting, vibrant and naturalistic planting schemes.

In addition to the use of ornamental cultivars, Andy is also experienced in using native flora having previously worked in the conservation sector in habitat creation and management.

Andy works with plots both large and small and in a wide range of styles encompassing both modern and traditional influences. Although every site presents its own unique mix of challenges a core philosophy drives each and every design. That is to:-

Endow each garden with a clear identity.
Ensure in-built practicality in both use and maintenance.
Create a visually strong and balanced underlying structure.
Design sensitively with respect to location.

Above all, care is always taken to ensure that the client is fully involved during all stages of the design process, ensuring expectations are met, whilst working within the constraints of site and budget.
